Alexandrinsky mining and ore company (AGC) has started development of the deepest, fifth horizon for copper mining. It lies at a depth of 420 meters, and the approved balance reserves are approximately 700 thousand tons of ore. Mining is planned from 2022. To date, we have already completed the sinking of the inclined ramp and drilling of exploration wells to clarify the ore contour of the field. The necessary underground structures for auxiliary services and equipment are also being constructed.
The construction of another floor of the mine is due to the development of the field to the depth of approved balance reserves. At Сhebachye, the ore lies at a depth of 250 to 460 meters. At the moment, production is carried out on three horizons and two sub-floors, which are located at a level of 300 to 400 meters.
